We would like to say a special thanks to our pals over at Tampa Bay’s Media Talk. Karen and I were guests on their August 10th show. Media Talk is an entertainment and educational radio and webcast program dedicated to serving the needs of Tampa Bay’s creative, cultural and business communities (but anyone, anywhere can tune in). The show is presented by Tampa Digital Studios and sponsored by Weekly Planet.
We had a great time chatting with host Janet Sherer and co-host Rob Tiisler about Oddpodz, what we’ve got going on now, and what we’re planning for the (near) future. We snagged the coveted “creative of the week” position on the show, reserved for area movers and shakers from the print & broadcast media, arts, business, film & video production, advertising and marketing industries. The show’s senior producer, Michael Piotrowski, made us feel right at home and ensured that the whole operation ran like a well-oiled machine. The audience takes charge of their own maintenance – the show’s studio is located in Bar Louie, so people can unwind with a cocktail, or beverage of their choice during the broadcast.
The show airs live each Thursday from 6 PM to 7 PM on the WTAN Radio Network here in town, but they also have a webcast. We have the link right here if you missed us. Check them out on Thursdays, it’s a fun show.
